Amy Fairchild Haer
BS IAML 2003
Amy Fairchild Haer, IAML '03 is currently a third-year law student at George Washington University, working in civil rights law with regards to immigrants. Doing well with technical and liberal arts, Amy views law as a good hybrid of the two. She finds it to be a career path where she has the opportunity to make a difference in many lives. After law school, she plans to do political asylum work in an immigration nonprofit.
Lance Stubblefield
MS IA 2001
Lance Stubblefield, MS IA 2001, almost missed being in the publication of our first online alumni spotlight due to travels through Japan. Were glad we got a chance to catch up with him and ask him a few questions about his life since Tech. Lance is currently a project manager (Asia Pacific and the Middle East) with the Office of Export Control Policy and Cooperation at the National Nuclear Security Administration. He received a Recognition Award for Excellence in his first year with his current office.
Charles Wright
BS IAML 2004
Charles Wright, BS IAML '04, is currently a refugee officer, with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. After graduating from Tech, Charles went to Mexico for a year to work in a nonprofit. He then decided to continue his studies by earning a Masters in foreign service at Georgetown University, with a focus on U.S. foreign policy. We are glad we had the chance to catch up with Charles and ask him a few questions about his life since Tech.
Rob Rolling
MSIA 2005
Rob Rolling, MSIA '05, recently completed the two-year Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF) program, and has accepted a position with Booz Allen Hamilton's Global Security Office, working with a government client on classified projects. Booz Allen is a global strategy and technology consulting firm that provide services to the world's leading corporations, government and other public agencies, emerging growth companies, and institutions. Booz Allen prides itself on providing clients with "results that endure."
Previously, Rob worked for the U.S. Air Force Office of International Affairs in negotiating international armaments cooperation agreements followed by another year with the U.S. Department of State's Fulbright Exchange Grants Office. We are glad we had the chance to catch up with him and ask a few questions about his life since Tech.
Rafael Corrales
BSIAML 2006
Rafael Corrales, BSIAML 06 is currently pursuing an MBA degree at Harvard Business School. After graduating from Tech, Rafael went to work for Xerox in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). While there, he continued to manage an online tutoring and mentoring company he co-founded while at Tech. We are glad we had the chance to catch up with Rafael and ask him a few questions about his life since Tech.
Ashley Bliss
BS EIA 2008
Ashley Bliss, BS EIA 08 recently served as a Field Organizer for the Obama Campaign in the swing state of Ohio. In this role she was responsible for organizing the community to get out the vote on Election Day. Now that the Election has passed, we are glad to have the chance to catch up with Ashley and ask a few questions about her life since she graduated from Tech.
Rashidah C. Hardwick
MS IA 2007
Rashidah C. Hardwick, MSIA '07 has recently been promoted to Senior Consultant after 1 year on the Organization and Strategy team at Booz Allen Hamilton, Ms. Hardwicks past experiences span legal, political, and academic organizations. Prior to joining Booz Allen in January 2008, Ms. Hardwick performed research on the history of U.S. economic incentives to North Korea with Dr. William Long, Chair of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research contribution to his scholarly work is noted in the International Journal of Korean Unification Studies (Vol. 15, No. 2, 2006, pp. 1-20). Dr. Long's work, Assessing Engagement: Why America's Incentive Strategy toward North Korea 'Worked' and Could Work Again, focused on diplomatic solutions to the problem of uranium enrichment in an increasingly volatile international environment.
Tracy Bius Lynge
MS INTA 2000
Tracy Bius Lynge, MS INTA 2000, is currently working as the Executive Officer to the Inspector General for the Social Security Administration. After completing her Masters in International Affairs, Tracy was able to apply for and be accepted into the President Management Fellowship to obtain her position in the SSA. We were delighted that Tracy volunteered to be this semesters feature on our Alumni Spotlight.
