    RW-III was developed by Fred Kile and Arnold Rabehl at the Aid Association for Lutherans, which is an insurance company in Appleton, Wisconsin. Their goal was to develop an integrated global model that explicitly incorporated values so that the user could see the consequences of making different value-based decisions.

    RW-III was developed using FORTRAN on an IBM 360/158 computer. I ported the code so that the model runs on Macintosh and DOS/Windows computers. One can obtain the executable model, source code, datasets, and as much documentation as exists for the model by clicking on the highlighted type of computer.
