Research Focus

International relations, international politics and the legal order, history of international political and legal thought, ethics. Dr. Keene joins us from his role as a Fellow of Balliol College of Oxford University. He is the author of Beyond the Anarchical Society: Grotius, Colonialism and Order in World Politics (Cambridge University Press, 2002), and is working on a textbook on modern international thought.
