Study Abroad
The Nunn School encourages students to participate in at least one study abroad experience while completing the degree program. The School sponsors summer programs focusing on:
European economic integration and security institutions in Brussels
Emerging global economies and political development of East Asia
Democratization, privatization, and regional economic integration in Argentina; and
Latin American social and cultural history in Mexico
The Nunn School also sponsors a graduate-level exchange program which selects one student each year to study for a spring semester at the School of International and Area Studies (SIAS) of Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea.
Additionally, the School of Modern Languages and the Office of International Education offer study abroad programs in more than fifteen countries.
Application and Information Sessions
Students are encouraged to read the Study Abroad Application Instructions carefully and attend Study Abroad information sessions, organized by the Office of International Education, to learn more about study abroad programs and requirements. Argentina Program
This INTA study abroad program focuses on democratization, privatization, and regional economic integration in Buenos Aires and Argentina and is led by Dr. Kirk Bowman.

This INTA study abroad program focuses on European economic integration and security institutions in Brussels, Belgium. This program is led by Dr. Katja Weber.

This INTA study abroad program focuses on economic, political development, and business opportunities of Japan, Taiwan, China, and is led by Dr. John Garver.

Mexico Program
This INTA program in Monterrey offers a course on politics, development, and culture in Mexico led by Dr. Michelle Dion. Students may also choose another elective offered from a variety of different course offerings.

Seoul National Exchange Program
Any degree-seeking student in good standing in the Master of Science in International Affairs program is eligible to apply. The selected student receives a stipend to help the cost of tuition and reasonable living expenses for the spring semester at Seoul National University.

Valencia Program
The Valencia Program offers two tracks of study. All students will take a course on the history, culture, soccer, and politics of Spain, and will choose a second course on either Mediterranean Ecology (Biology credit) or the Political Economy of Development (Cross-listed International Affairs and Management).
